Dale Rafuse CFP®, CLU, CH.F.C.
Dale was born in Halifax and grew up in Martin’s River in Lunenburg County.
He attended Royal Military College in Kingston, Ontario, and graduated from St. Mary’s University in Halifax with an Honours BSc.
Dale joined London Life in 1984 and obtained his Chartered Life Underwriter designation in 1990, Chartered Financial Consultant in 1992 and Certified Financial Planner in 1996. He specializes in generating Retirement Income for his clients.
He is a lifetime volunteer: a charter director of the Mahone Islands Conservation Association and the Bridgewater Rotary Club, and a past president of the Chester Golf Club. In 2008 Dale chaired a capital campaign that raised 1.8 million dollars to save the Chester Church Memorial Park arena and curling club. He is a certified curling coach, and avid fly fisherman.
He is married to Cathy, have sons Alex and Greg, and resides in West LaHave, on the LaHave River. Dale is a musician, gardener, wine maker, music lover, and sports nut. He and Cathy are avid travellers, especially to Europe.
